How to Make Instant Pot Chili
Saute – Set the Instant Pot to sauté. Add the ground beef, diced green pepper, and diced onion.
Cook and deglaze – Cook the beef until no longer pink, drain excess fat, then deglaze the pot by scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
Add ingredients – Layer the remaining ingredients, finishing with the beef broth. Do not stir.
Pressure cook – Seal the lid and set the Instant Pot to Manual/High Pressure for 10 minutes.
Naturally release – Allow the pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes, then carefully remove the lid.
Serve – Stir the chili, taste and adjust seasoning if needed, then serve with your favorite garnishes.
