Double Chocolate Twix Cookies
My partner in #TwoSweetiePies, Danielle, is always inspiring, especially since we both adore chocolate and caramel. I rarely eat candy, but I love adding chopped candy bars to cookies. Twix bars — with caramel, chocolate, and a crisp cookie center — are a perfect addition. These cookies were inspired by Hugs & Cookies XOXO’s Twix cookie concept and quickly became a favorite.

Baking Tips for the Best Twix Cookies
These cookies begin with simple ingredients — butter, brown sugar, an egg, vanilla, and flour — but a few tablespoons of cocoa, chopped Twix bars, and chocolate chips transform them into something extraordinary. This recipe yields about a dozen cookies, which is perfect if you want to keep portions reasonable while still indulging.
If your dough feels soft, chill the scooped dough balls in the freezer for a few minutes. Chilling firms the dough and makes it easier to roll into smooth, uniform spheres by hand. I used a cookie disher for even portions, then briefly chilled the dough to shape it neatly.
Line your baking sheet with nonstick foil, silicone, or parchment, because some caramel may escape while baking. As soon as the cookies come out of the oven, use a spatula or a knife to tuck any oozing caramel back toward the cookie. This quick step also helps reshape any cookies that spread into irregular shapes while still hot.
